Sorry guys, no Molsheim for me this year. Too much problems with feeding my son, which still is an almost fulltime job.

Perhaps next year...

Hello Herman,

No problem. Your son is of course more important. Perhaps I am judging too soon, but I don't think you will miss a lot.

Regards, Jeroen

Just came back from Molsheim, as a simple spectator.
The parade was a BIG disapointment. No rythm, cars coming at 10 km/h, boring gaps between rounds.
It was awful.

The day was not so bad overall but could have been much better.

If you think is was bad as a spectator, you should have tried being on the parade. The organisation of the Alsace club was abysmal. In fact through the several days we were running up to 2 hours late. The poor waiters at the Railway museum dinner, held at night, had to wait 2 hours before everyone arrived.it was the same at the dinner held in the Schlumph museum the next night. Imagine trying to keep food hot and edible with such a delay. At the parade my poor car showed its disgust by resolutely refusing to fire on more than 3 cylinders. And being forced to follow "lorries" round the town allowed few chances to open her up to clean the plugs.I resorted to slowing down completely and allowing the slower saloons to get ahead. They seemed more interested in waving at the spectators! [ Very French ] then I floored it on a couple of occasions. This seemed to me to please the crowd more ! Vive la Marque.
