Prestigious Bugattis
Thanks to the support of the Geneva collector and connoisseur Jean-Louis Fatio, the traditional stand to display some of the most prestigious Bugattis will present four exceptional models this year:
The highlight will be the Bugatti T57, owned by Mr. Yves Honegger, an avid collector of exceptional cars. This unique example with bodywork designed and built by Corsica of London was first delivered to Mr. Dwyer and Mr. Mac Ferran. This team participated in the 1935 Tourist Trophy in Ireland, but the car, whose 3,300 cc twin-cam motor developed 130 horsepower, crashed out of the race on the first lap! Afterwards, it underwent several transformations and was used as a normal road car in Ireland until it was sold to an American collector. It returned to Europe 20 years later where it was completely restored by Franco Sbarro. Since then, this T57 has participated in, and won, numerous rally competitions.
