from 18/12 untill 17/01/2010 there will be a Bugatti Expo down at Autoworld museum at Parc Cinquantenaire
i got the list from the PR, no listing of s/n
cars confirmed:
Type 13 (1910-1920) – 1 ex.almost original state
Type 22 en Type 23 "Brescia" (1921 – 1926) – elk 1 ex.
Type 32 "Tank" (1923) – 1 ex.
Type 35: (1924-1930) – 5 ex.
Type 37 – 2 ex.
Type 40 (1926-1930) – 2 ex. coachworks: "Grand Sport" & "Fiacre".
Type 41 "Royale Esders" (1926-1931) – 1 ex.
Type 43 (1927-1930) – 2 ex. coachworks: "Grand Sport" & "Figoni-Falaschi"
Type 44 (1927-1930) – 1 ex. "Faux Cabriolet", coachwork D'Ieteren Frères according to Weymann-licentie,
Type 50 (1930-1933) – 1 ex. "semi profilée"
Type 52 "Baby" (1927-1937) – 1 ex. owned by King Boudewijn as a child
Type 55, de "wagen van Monsieur Jean" (1931-1935) – 1 ex.
Type 59 (1933-1934) – 1 ex.
Type 56, de kleine elektrische wagen (1931-1933) – 1 ex. owned by Queen Elisabeth of Belgium.
Type 57 - 57C – 57S – 57SC : de unieke handtekening van Jean 1934-1939) – 10 ex.

 T57 Stelvio 1e reeks – 1934 – Cabriolet Gangloff
 T57C Aravis – Cabriolet – 2 zitplaatsen - koetswerk van Letourneur & Marchal
 T57C Galibier 2e reeks – 1938 – berline
 T57C Ventoux – 1938 – coach
 T57SC Atalante – tweezits coupé cabriolet, getekend door Jean Bugatti
 T57SC Atlantic – 1936.
 T57 – Coupé "Gangloff" – 1935. Deze wagen, aanvankelijk een Stelvio Cabriolet van de 1e reeks, verloor zijn koetswerk en kreeg nadien een Gangloff Coupé-koetswerk op basis van een destijds nooit in de praktijk gerealiseerde schets.
 T57 – vierzits coupé – 1939 – koetswerk Albert D'Ieteren
 T57C – Roadster 'Gangloff'. Koetswerk gerealiseerd in 2007 volgens een onuitgegeven schets van Gangloff uit 1935.
 T57S – roadster – 1936. Identieke reconstructie van de T57S die tot 1950 toebehoorde aan de Franse schilder André Perrin en nadien naar de schroothoop verwezen werd.

Type 57G "Tank" (1936-1937) – 1 ex.

yesterday afternoon was the press presentation, but i had a slight problem getting there because of the heavy snow
going to try again this weekend to make it over there

Well, I managed to get there, sliding off the highway only once...

I had more problems returning (as far as time needed goes, I did not slide off the highway more), it was a record day in Belgium for the longest total traffic jams!

There really is an impressive line-up of cars there, worth the visit.

And just how many people do you know who would make such a car?!! Yes I was there last night.The TPV [Train Petite Vitesse ! ] was two hours late arriving,they had some snow somewhere.So all the trains were affected.It is not so unusual snow is it? But every time it is the same !!

And if you have time whilst in Bruxelles,My old T37 is on display in the Hilton hotel foyer ! I had quite a surprise when I saw it !

no no, we are not used to snow in this part of the country.
so thursday was pure HELL on the road, today was still pretty difficult, i'm driving up to brussels tomorrow morning to spend the day there
& thanks for the tip Lazarus, now i'll try & head over to the Hilton aswell

Well i must say i spended the most of the day down at the Expo & had a great time
a wonderfull selection & well presented, ofcourse several, euhm, rebody's present
but still great to see them all
i'll probably will be heading back after christmas

some shots to follow soon

well, yes
let's face it, even though they are rebody's, i'm still glad they are there
if they hadn't used those cars, that could have meand less cars in total
i hadn't seen some of them myself before, most people won't even know it
but i still liked the diversity of cars present & a very good selection overall.

one lesser point, the Galibier's front right tyre was standing flat & that on the 2nd openingsday of the expo, that's not really right
also you could already see the dust lying on the cars, so i'm guessing they are not beeing cleaned


i remember several years ago they did a Bizzarini expo, also great show, but same thing
couple of rebodies & dusty cars
