Erwin Beerens heeft zijn T30 "ingeruild" voor de ex Lemon-Burton T37 #37371, die in de jaren 30 een T43 motor heeft gekregen. Geen "Bitsa" of zo.

D137 should rather be called 35/43 as it has a complete T43 engine not a 35B engine.
It also is a GP and not a 'Sport'
Both T44's D151 and D164 were not there.
D155 PS BO312 was there
D198 the T46S was almost certainly not there.
E309 is 40925 and this means it is a T40A
E322 T51R is a Salzman Argentina but I do not know the (assumed?) identity
E355 T43R is a PS but I do not know the (assumed?) identity

Why 35/43, it is a T37 (correct T37A), und a T37 is and remains a sport model

You are right. A typing error. I meant 37/43 of course.
The car was born as T37A which certainly was a 'voiture course' and not a 'voiture sport'.

I have always assumed that a 35 and a 37 used chassis frames from the same stack, just drilled differently, but am I right ?

That is a very interesting question, and I will make a new thread in the French Bugatti section about it.
