Only 6 "Bugatti" cars were entered for angouleme this year.Despite the usual "added patina" all were replicas. There was no Bugatti race.Is this a foretent of things to come? They really should have a replica Bugatti race.

Pour ce Circuit des Remparts les bugatti présentes sont toutes des "replica".
Désaffection suite à une polémique provoquée par la presse locale lors du meeting de 2011

There was no Bugatti race this year it was just a pre war race.
nothing was as sad as the man on the rally telling me his car was a 1926 35T , i was genuinely unsure whether he had been sold a pup or knew it was a persang it had the motorboat magneto with a FH8 plate held on with an elastic band! it looked like a new ford that had just roled out of a US factory. (also had jons favorite gear trim embelishment)
I think the race entry was honest by comparison the cars were what they were I don’t think they tried to fool anyone the Alvis which came 3rd was awesome .

Just looked on the Coys monaco thread it was indeed that same car on the rally, sad really either the new owner has been fleesed or the old owner is trying to convince anyone who will listen that its real very odd?
