Prince Joachim, wire junior by the Margrethe queen of Denmark, married yesterday, in second wedding, a French commoner, Marie Cavallier, in front of a floor of personalities and representatives of the Scandinavian courses. Marie Cavallier becomes the new princess of Denmark, and the second Frenchwoman to enter the royal court of the country, after her father-in-law, the Prince Consort Henrik. Prince Joachim and the Marie princess left church on board a Bugatti royale convertible 2041

In fact, it is the Tom WheatCroft replica.

The replica in Sinsheim is different, based on a light truck chassis, and was made for a French movie.

Take a look at the prince; he seems very anxious to start the wedding night!

And Herman, shall I ring up Tom for you?

The car's chassis was made in a corrugated-iron hut on a windswept hillside in mid-Wales.

Keith Taylor who built the car's engine with John Bentley said he thought the chassis was better made than an original.

If you want one it is listed in Tim Dutton's catalogue.

This was all I could find, except for some similar images. See the photo server for that.

On one of the sites I read some comments on the smoke the car was generating...
