In fact, it is the Tom WheatCroft replica. The replica in Sinsheim is different, based on a light truck chassis, and was made for a French movie. Take a look at the prince; he seems very anxious to start the wedding night! And Herman, shall I ring up Tom for you?

The car's chassis was made in a corrugated-iron hut on a windswept hillside in mid-Wales. Keith Taylor who built the car's engine with John Bentley said he thought the chassis was better made than an original. If you want one it is listed in Tim Dutton's catalogue. |
