This mascot is based on a charicature by the world reowned artist Geo Ham,
and is sculpted by the famous France sculpter M.Bertin in around 1920,s.
Robert Benoist was the first professional racing driver of Bugatti Cars.
The bust with wings is in pure art deco style.
Very rare only a handful of this racing driver mascot exist.
This is also a real museum piece.

This mascot is in fantastic condition for his age,100 % orginal and finished in heavy nickel bronze.
this mascot is illustrated in the book "Mascottes Fantaisies de 1910 - 1953" by Michel Legrand pag 333. number 185.
