| Post subject: | Did Ettore Bugatti ever meet Edwin Lutyens? |
Edwin Lutyens was an architect who lived between 1869 and 1944 and designed among other things the Cenotaph and most of New Delhi. They must have moved in the same circles and from what I have read about Lutyens he suffered the same criticisms as EB in that his designs looked great but on a practical level cost a fortune and were problematic to live with. Did they ever meet? |
