This young man from Brussels had a Squadra Bugatti at the end of the twenties.

a 37, a 43, and a touring car converted for sport racing.

Does somebody knows more about him ?

Again I am unable to provide you with any meaningful information : 43220 / engine 70 was delivered to Reinartz, Liege in May 1928. I do not know if Conway is referring to the Brussels dealer, Reinartz, but if he is, why was a car delivered to Liege through Brussels?

Du Gann makes no mention of 43220, Conway does not list it as a surviving car nor is there an entry for it in Wiki.

No Delzaert is mentioned in connection with any T43.

Johan

Thanks for the reply

Reinartz was agent for Liège, 43220 was destroyed in a fire at Spa in 1928

My records show that this gentleman drove a road-equipped type 35B in the 24 hour race at Spa-Francorchamps on 7th July, 1929.

Does anyone know his first name ? Or have a picture of him ?

Joseph Reinartz ex motorcycle driver was "agent" for Bugatti for the Liège aera.
In 1929, he drove a 43 at Spa pairing with Charlier. This late had a fatal crash in the race. It s only in 1930 that he drove a 35.
