Cannot find too much about him. Of course the fact that he bought a Royale, but that will not surprise anyone here.

also, I found an "Avenue Armand Esders" in Paris.

That is true. But furthermore, not too much information.

Did find a catalogue though:

And Avenue Armand Esders is an industrial area. (Geodis is located there, a large transport company)

Esders was a clothing manufacturer. He also bought a clothing store in Paris called Fashionable House. He renamed it Fashionable without the "House".

Esders was the first client to buy a Royale. The story is he never drove at night, therefore the Esders Royale designed by Jean Bugatti didn't have headlights.
But the car did have the same headlights as the other Royales, but they were almost never fitted.
Esders, who almost never drove himself, not even in the two seater Royale, when travelling was always accompanied by one of his other cars (e.g. a Hispano Suiza J12). This accompanying car carried the Royale's headlights, in case the car had to be driven in darkness.

I have heard this story before about the headlights fitted when needed but I just cannot see it being possible without a fair bit of work. I still wait for a photo to appear to prove otherwise though.
