BRÉGUET, Louis.
The aviation magnate who licensed Bugatti’s 16 cylinder 1st World War aero engine for production for commercial use.

The engines he produced flew in his “Leviathan” aircraft but did not proceed into mass production.

His studies of aircraft cooling systems influenced the design of the de Monge-designed Model P 100 (See Bugantics Vol. 37/2/74).

Also, the French - built U16 was built in a Breguet airplane, the Breguet Type XIX, in 1921.
