I tried to buy this book on Uno Ranch

Image

But was informed that because The Flygvapenmuseum is expanding, the museum will be closed for visitors until the grand re-opening on June 12th, 2010 and that it´s not possible to buy anything from the museum shop for the moment.

Does anybody know this book ?
Is it any good (even if you don't read Swedish lik me) ?
Can I buy it elsewhere ?

Just to test:

Ah, I see: The image on the photo server is less than 400 px wide. That is when the copy-button is not working. (I need some php programming done to correct this problem. Other priorities now...)

Pls contact Mr Bo Gullbrandsson, bo_olav.gullbrandsson [at] comhem.se, +46-31-711 1939, the publisher of this book. With kind regards, per.ranch [at] ristomta.se

I obscured the email addresses, as with the amount of spammers and searchbots, you are likely to have you inbox filled with obscure offers: Need pills? Need a degree? Want to gamble? "I am Prince Digeridoo the 15th of Africa, I have 30 million in a safe in Europe".

Today I recieved this book.
Not being able to read Swedish, I can only understand some words but the publisher informed me the might be an English translation of the Bugatti related sections availible later. I asked him to keep me informed.

The book has several nice pictures of Bugatti's and tells the stories of mr. Ranch's ownership of several Bugatti's and his visits to Molsheim, where he stayed at the Hostellerie and met several Bugatti employees.

Alas not much info on 49451, but still a nice picture of that car with Swedish Prince Bertil is in the book. I will do a follow up on that issue.
Through the contacts made I will try to unearth some more info on the "Swedish life" of 49451.

This is another T44 that is not in the Bugattiregister yet - just wrote a PM to Bugatti69 with the request to add this car to the register.
