Engine no. 54. Reg. no. GC 8581. Agent : Sorel, London. Factory invoice : Coachwork : Two-door saloon (Yellow and black. Coachbuilder : Weymann of Paris to a Bugatti design. The personal transport of Colonel Sorel who drove it at the first UK BOC speed event at Chalfont St. Peters. He wore a trilby hat. Owners : Forman, Eric Giles who used the car, with a trailer, for firefighting duties during WW2. David Scott-Moncrieff who drove it to the Artic. (1954) E.E. Wilkinson, The Prospect Engineering Co. Newby, nr. Scarborough, Yorkshire. (1975) W.J. Cooke, 2000 British Bugatti Register p. 132.

Deze foto komt uit het boek uit 1949 "Escape from Peace" door David Scott-Moncrieff.

Ik heb het onlangs gelezen, het verhaalt over een tocht door Scandinavië, in de jaren net na de oorlog. Die reis is gemaakt in een T46 Bugatti, die dus op de foto staat.

Niet zover terug in de tijd.
Naar het EB festival in Molsheim 2001.

De foto`s zijn genomen uit mijn album van foto`s.
Ze zijn dus niet geheel optimaal.
Aan Uwe gevraagd of hij ze wilde plaatsen in de map serie van EB molsheim festistivals.
