I'm planning to spend 10th September driving from Calais to Zandvoort. Can any of you suggest a nice route with not too many lorries, a nice place to stop for lunch and maybe one or two places of Bugatti interest to visit ? Thanks. |

10th of September? No Molsheim then? What would be the time schedule? It can be done in 1 day, but you will spend the day driving. A nice place to visit could be the Louwman collection, but check whether they are open, and if there are Bugattis present. (I can imagine that the type 18, type 50 and type 54 are at Molsheim then) You could also stop by the Huet Brothers, nephews of Guy Huet, who almost always have a Bugatti in their workshops. Something special in Zandvoort? I was there about a week ago, watching the NUNA solar cars. Strange sight seeing a car move at 60 mph, and NO sound. |
