Post subject:  Hello from Illinois

I have followed the online videos and articles of many prewar car collectors for many years. Of almost any country, and any marque, they are special to my heart. I found this website not long ago, and decided to join it. This place is full of members who have a wealth of knowledge, and since I am a member of the younger generation, I hope to learn from anyone I can, and preserve these wonderful cars one day. I'm am also an Avion Voisin fan, and was fortunate enough to visit David Cooper and his shop when he borrowed 6 of the Voisins from Peter Mullin for the Barrington Concours D'Elegance in Illinois, USA.
There is another special thing I like about these cars, that it takes many years of hands on knowledge just to maintain, and fabricate new parts for Bugattis and others, and it is a dream of mine to be a mentor of a European restorer.

But unfortunately dreams are dreams.

Kind Regards
Travis

Unfortunately I have not left my country, but I have a huge fascination with England and Germany. I plan on living in England within 10 years, but I may never know. I'm defiantly a hobbiest too.

Thank you all for the warm welcome
Travis
