The car on the wiki page http://www.bugattiregister.com/wiki/index.php?title=T43_unknown-AM_05_76 is 43254.
Only strange thing is the engine number, quoted on the plaque as 114. But this engine number belongs to 43234.
Owner is Luc Slijpen.

You can immediately change that again as 43254 is a mistake.
This is 43234 engine 114.

BOTH ARE 43234 no relation with 43254 which does not exist anymore.

In 1958, when owned by du Montant, 43234 took part in a regularity trial before the start of the official race.Herewith a photo I took before the start and a list of all particiants. Regards Jacobug

Jacobug, I am sorry but the T43 shown in your picture is not 43234.
Although Jean Louis Dumontant was in 1958 the owner of 43234 it then still had the very special Coupe body that was built for Garnier. Next owner Irv Silverman purchased the car of J.L. Dumontant's widow in 1961 and he is the man who had the not very correct GS body built in Switserland. Your picture shows correct front wings. The Swiss made GS bodied car had front wings fixed to the brake backplates.
Also the car as found by Dumontant had T51 wheels that still were on the car untill they were recently replaced by the current owner with T43 wheels.
But now the intriguing question: Which T43 did Dumontant use in this 1958 LM event?
