Post subject:  Car 1352

A photo posted today shows Chiron in what looks like Paris. I think the probability is that it is car 1352.

1352
A 16-valve type 23 (engine number 932) which was one of a batch of eight cars (numbers 1349-1356) delivered to the Paris showroom on 19th April 1922. A certain "L. Chiron" of St. Cloud is recorded as the client to whom the car was sold. However, its later history is unknown and for the moment it must be assumed not to have survived (but ex-Chiron Bugattis do have a habit of reappearing in the fullness of time !). (St Cloud is a wealthy "commune" overlooking the Seine about six miles from the centre of Paris).
