On researching the Bugattis in Portugal through the national register website I found some info that should need some confirmation, thus I'm bringing it here.

The user Fabricio Estebes from the Portal dos Classicos website has compiled a list of Bugattis in Portugal, one of which is the following:

BUGATTI TYPE 57 - BC-10-31- 1938 - ACTUAL Albert Eberhard

I quickly searched the internet for this licence plate to no avail and turned to the national car register website (which, freelly, provides the builder and chassis number for any given registered licence plate). When submiting the plate, the result is that the register no longer existed. But searching for the car's owner (Albert Eberhard) I came up with a rather blurry pair of pictures:

On the second picture it's quite clear the plate is, in fact, BC-10-30. Submitting the new plate on the database the result was the following:

BUGATTI frame N57673

I cross checked the number with the Bugatti Register Chassis Database and for that given chassis number the model reference was a coincidal Type 57 Galibier but no mention of any Portuguese register or owner. Does anyone know any extra info that could confirm or deny this info, since the Database has no reference to current owner? I mean, the register HAS TO BE correct, right? At least its paperwork does...

I have seen mentions that Albert is a car collector (just look at his 1926 Stratford or his 1926 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost!) and the pics above were taken on the 2004 Rali dos Templários, which could indicate he's the current owner of the Galibier.
