#4922 was built as T35B, registered as T35B, raced by Wagner at the Targa Florio as T35B, and is exhibited now in a Swedish museum as T35B. The fairy tale that this was Chiron's winning car at the 1929 German Grand Prix can be eliminated by the original entry list showing it was a 2 litre car. But no problem for the editors of the "International Bugatti Register" - within a few seconds the "Type 35B Grand Prix" is changed to "Type 35C Grand Prix, then 35B". Congratulations, that's how history is written! For sure it will be equally easy to to change the TF entry from T35B to T35C. Or how about changing the WIKI to "Type 35B Grand Prix, then 35C, then 35B again"?

Some open questions of course remain.
- Delivery of 4922 = 20 July 1029, German GP = 14 July 1929?
- Why using trade plates (WW) for a car registered already 3 months before?
- Why was Chiron's Nürburgring car painted in 2 colors, most probably red-white?

But who cares? Well, may be the actual owner of 4922, as a major Grand Prix win by Chiron surely will increase the car's value considerably.
