Dear Friends

Some of you may wonder at my continued absence from the forum, allow me to explain. My depression, carefully kept under control by medication, has suddenly struck back at me with all the subtlety of a speeding train. While my doctor and my shrink are working tirelessly on remixing my cocktail of anti-depressants (a process needing more luck than anything else) I am consuming every last drop of energy just to get to and from work. Getting home in the afternoons I usually just sit and do nothing until about 19H00 and then I get into bed and am asleep by 20H00. Yet every morning I wake up utterly exhausted.

The news is not all bad though, not only am I still capable of fulfilling my work duties, but, strangely enough, I do not feel depressed - just very, very tired.

This shall pass soon, hopefully. Until then please have patience with me.

Thank you Kindly
Johan Buchner

A Mistress? Well they do say a change is as good as a holiday. It's been a while though, know any women of loose virtue?

Still alive

Best of luck as you struggle with this, Johan. Now I understand why I didn't hear from you after I sent the BC070 (O. Uhlik T54) shots when owned by Skip Berg...no matter. Get well and get rest.
Cheers,
Sandy

Cheer up Johan
(I only just read your explanation - I do not read the off-topic items regularly)
Take your time to get well - and please do get well.
Spring is coming and summer is on it's way. I hope that will help a bit...
Yes your comments are missed here at the forum, but first things first.
Hopefully the medication and much rest can help you get better soon.
For now choose your priorities wisely and enjoy your little energy availible anyway you like it.
Better times will come. Keep us posted, a short line will do.
Hoping to read a lot of :D :D :D :) :) :P :P :D :D - s from you soon.
Best wishes, Bart

Slowly but surely the darkness wanes. The day I started this thread one of the truly great enthusiasts wrote to me and told me that Bugattis matter less than my job, indeed he told me that my job was the only thing that mattered. Advise I clung to like a drowning man to a reed and it worked - I turned my job into my escape, my safe place if you will, and used every ounce of energy I had to get to work and I worked myself hard, harder than I ever have before. I can feel the lights coming on, slowly but surely. And it feels good I tell you.

To this gentleman who took the trouble to write to me : Sir your words gave me clarity and something positive to focus on ; I am in your debt. From the bottom of my heart I thank you, it would probably be an overstatement to say that you saved my life, but you did save me from being unemployed again, which is the same thing really. Thank you.

Still smiling
Johan Buchner
