I just purchased an amusing little car called a Michel Irat.A real barn discovery, which served a boulonger until the mid 1960's.It has a horseshoe shaped radiator similar to another well known car.It is 1929 although it says year unknown in the 1955 logbook. They were only made in 1929 ! It is quite advanced for the year for a small car, four wheeled brakes, overhead valves with oil feed to the aluminium cambox lid feeding the rockers. It is an 1100cc.It is in reality a Brassier made under licence by Georges Irat in the name of his son Michel. As the body behind the dashboard is missing I have measured it up and found that a T43 style body will fit.So that Is what I shall fit.The slowest T43 in the world? If anyone has any information on this rare marque [ only three known to the club !] Please let me know.

roofs might come in handy when you get shot at.

Do you have more pictures? (engine, side view)

The fanbelt is amusing it goes into two holes in the casting behind the dynamo.[there is not a fanbelt fitted at the moment]

Hi,

We also have a Michel Irat and would be interested to communicate with you to see how you are progressing with your car.
Leave a message on here if you can.

Many Thanks
Pete
