hey good photo of the straight-cut gears a great job on your T5 gearbox may i ask in your photo is this a polymer for the bevel-wheel? |

Yes , this is a polymer . It is for testing the machine adjustment . After it is ok in polymer , I cut it in steel . All gears for the T5 are ready in steel . |

certainly a great effort to build this T5 gearbox. she will be a sporty car to drive looks a close ratio gearbox a very interesting project thanks for sharing it is an inspiration to me the box seems lightly built almost flimsy its lay shaft is a narrow diameter |

Right , this is a test assembly with a 25mm shaft . The real one has 42mm diameter . |

this is the new shaft 42mm diameter hardened and ground . With the new gears made from steel and case hardened .
