Was he the chap who lived a reclusive life in a caravan somewhere in Wales and made chassis for only one firm ??

It is indeed The late Alan Wragg it is a Photo Udo has taken from his son Adams Facebook page Adam has put up a number of interesting photos from his fathers archive on Facebook. He also has a group on Sherwood restorations as was under his father.

I'm a big fan as I own one of the first frames he made.

I am also a big fan.I had chassis SR 037 for my first Bugatti T37.His chassis got me on the road,he also sold me my first real Bugatti engine [a Type 40 ] for my 37.
