Hello, You shouldn't ask for mistakes but for what is right. What is your definition of a mistake? Mistake in reference to it’s out of size fiberglass body instead of aluminium? Mistake in reference to its rear flat 4 engine instead of a front in line 4 or 8 cylinder? Mistake of a double torque bar Beetle front axle instead of a forged one piece steel axle? Mistake to use all mechanical parts of a car that was build 22 million times to build something that should look like a Bugatti? A VW replica is not really a replica for my opinion but a funny body on an old beetle chassis. It's something like a (bad) caricature. The advantage of such cars is that they are that much out of shape so no one would take it as real. You can get happy with such a Kit Car in a Kit Car scene but please don't mention the Bugatti brand name. If your question was about what you can do wrong when building such a Kit, my answer is that most probably you destroy an original VW Beetle what is bad enough. Greetings, minime |

Is "amc" referring to the "Atlantic" bought by VW, and referred to in the other thread? viewtopic.php?f=32&t=6611 |

ALBreguet wrote: Is "amc" referring to the "Atlantic" bought by VW, and referred to in the other thread? viewtopic.php?f=32&t=6611 Could well be that I misunderstood the question. I haven't made a connection to that. Only "amc" is able to clarify this. Greetings: minime |
