Post subject:  Bugatti boat "Barbera III"

Here some info on "Barbera III"

Questions:
Was the boat ever constructed? Any photos?
What happened to Barbera I and II?
Was there a Barbera IV?

Bonhams mentions Barbera. Should it be Barbara?

Bonhams:
A rare Ettore Bugatti builder's model of the Yacht 'Barbera III', circa 1935,
finely constructed mahogany plank on frame hull, with deck planking in removeable sections lifting to reveal decorated compartments and cabin details, overall 204cm long, together with a purpose built cradle, brass fittings, some with EB monogram, many detached, other fitted including brass tiller, shroud supports and rope bollards.

Sold for £14,950 inclusive of Buyer's Premium

Footnote:
From the high quality of construction and markings on a high number of the detailed miniature brass fittings, it is evident that this superb and unique model was made by Ettore Bugatti.

Originaly purchased directly from the Estate of the late Roland Bugatti, it is believed that the interior cabin decoration was completed by Roland Bugatti's niece.
