Does anyone have drawings of the Bugatti Bench Vice and Bench Legs?

I understand there are at least 2 sizes of Bench Vices. I have some drawings for a small one. (will post them later)

Also, what is the height and depth of the bench legs?

This question is still valid. I would love to have some drawings/measurements of the Bugatti bench vices.

You must become a member of the Bugatti trust Herman. They have copies of all these drawings, alternatively ask C and G.

Some friends informed at the Trust. There does not seem to be an original drawing, however I received a drawing from a small vice, which was available. The legs and the large vice do not seem to have a drawing available.

I do have the drawing now.

You have a drawing, but two days ago I was at Crosthwaite and Gardiner and saw the ORIGINAL wooden casting patterns....So why make new?

Because I am not Crosthwaite, nor Gardiner?

I never had much interest in benchlegs as I made my own steel benches. But if I had been interested in original Bugatti bench legs then I would have bought legs cast from the original moulds....

Hi,

This year at the Retromobile in Paris there was a dealer who had bench legs (new casts in Aluminium) and also the small vice for sale along with repro GP wheels.
According to him the legs were copies made with original patterns.
The price was 800 Euro per pair of legs if I remember well which seemed quite reasonable to me.

The small vices were according to him never really in use in the Bugatti factory but they were apprentices pieces.
I don't remember the price for those but I can dig out the name and address of that dealer if someone is interested.

Small vice: How small was small?

And if you can find the dealer, that would be nice.

The vice was about 1/2 or 1/3 of the original size if I remember well.

Is it OK to post the dealer's name openly over here or should I send it via PM?

C and G made those as well but stopped as they were too expensive to make.I was admiring one recently in their office.
