Post subject:  Type 57 Aerolithe kit??

I found these pictures on forum-auto.com. It appears to be an Aerolithe kit or transkit, but I have never seen it before. Does anyone know about the origin of this model?? The wheels appear to be from the Solido Atalante.

Thanks for the information, Uwe. So, an old Heco kit. That means long out of production and impossible to find. Never mind. It makes me think how many old masters and molds there must be out there for nice models that are no longer being used...

The masters might have been destroyed. Most of the time they are makeshift patterns, which are brittle and fragile.

About the moulds: They will last any number between 50 and 200 castings. after that, they are usually cut up to be used as "filler" in new moulds...

If one has a sample to be used as a master, one can make copies relatively easy.
