I have never spent more then a couple of hours in any museum. So planning a day should be more then enough.

The funny thing is, that there are so many special cars in the museum, they kind of fade away, next to each other. Seeing a Bugatti type 55 is a major event. 9 of them side by side makes it a bit more special, but it will not take you 9 times the time to look at them...

we are planning to stay away from major cities (except Stuttgart for the Porsche and MB).
