I have noticed that there are virtually no models of the type 43.
One large, handmade, model was for sale at Retromobile at some € 5.000 and a few years ago Bonhams had a 1/18 in a sale, but that's about it.
Anyone know of 1/18 size or larger of a type 43 Grand Sport?????

Indeed Laika Vintage has a type 43 in 1:8

There is a type 43 in 1:24 from Auto Replicas, but it is hard to find.

1/18 and larger is still an upcoming scale, especially in high quality models. Prewar cars are not of much interest lately, so these upcoming scales still miss cars like the type 43.

The Laika model is a 43A and not a GS.
JJ, what type of kit is it?

It is this one:

White metal, relatively crude, but with some effort one can make a very nice model out of it.

The kit I have is the GS, I also have both the GS and the T43A in built form, as well as their Brescia in 1:24
