I bought this kit ( Zagato43) of the BUG type 57S chassis 57.561.... and I would like to realize the first version of the car with the red and black colors. There are some pictures of the car, before the restoration?

Probably the car was already green in the collection Sakespeare, from the photograph does not seem two-tone.

In the book :The Bugatti Type 57S ( Simon/Kruta):" In 1952 the car was fitted with a more modern body in the style of an Aston Martin DB2/4.In the Automobilrevue from 20 Feb.1952 there is the pictures of the body in the proccess of development. The " SC" was fitted with a new shell by the Swiss bodymaker Ghia ........When Shakespeare owned the car it was painted green and the upholstery was in a combiantion of green material and leather.....(actual picture)
I believe it finds something of more on the book:
