Looks really great!

About 25 years ago I have been trying to make wheels for the Bburago T59, the wheels are the biggest downside, of what is for the rest quite a good model of LPG211 .

However, I did not succeed. What is the price of your transkit?

One remark; you would want to translate "Bougie" with "Spark plug", not "Candle"!

Ruby, I have a question.

I see that you were able to add the spark plug tube/loom. This kit engine also requires the addition of a water tube.

However, I don't see space for that in my diecast – the engine sits too high. How did you make space for the spark plug pieces?

How did you achieve the engine-turned finish on the gauge panel?

You can do that with a drill press, an eraser, or a wire brush (taped together) and a bit of patience. In case of using the eraser, you will also need some abrasive powder.

Sorry for my late reply to your three questions:
1)I recovered the necessary room, moulding a new engine in white metal..
2)As explained correctly by Hermann I used a drill press.
3)For the 5 wheels and other I kindly ask you to contact me at my e-mail address :

Thank you for getting back to me. I don't understand why your e-mail to me wouldn't go through, so I am sending this message to you from three different e-mail addresses:

sjordan47@comcast.net
skipjordan@ymail.com
skipjordan47@gmail.com

Please let me know if these don't go through or you don't hear back from me in two days.

I believe you will have to send me a PayPal invoice so I can access my account. More details in the e-mails I sent you.

Thank you for your contact.

REPLY TO:

Dear Skip, I sent you different e-mails with the answers to your questions utilizing your e-mail address:
sjordan47@comcast.net.
Unfortunately in all the cases I have received back a failure notice. It seems that your e-mail is not correct or not operating. Please check.
I suggest you to send me an e-mail at my address rubymodel@tiscali.it so that I can be in the condition to reply directly.
However herebelow my answer to your question:
"I have the five wheels and the front axle of the Bugatti typ 59.
The cost of the wheels and the axle is Euro 55,00+15,00 of shipping for the USA.
You can pay with Paypal using the e-mail connected to my Paypal Account: rubymodel@tiscali.it "
Many thanks for your interest
Best regards

Tony, I received your transkit parts on Monday. I was finding that my model requires so many modifications that I was ready to give up, but these beautiul wheels convnced me to go on. Howeever, the front axle is very rough and requires machine tools that I do not have. Do you have any suggestions or directions for this?

Files and sandpaper... If it is white metal, it goes surprisingly fast.

Thank you so much – yes, it's much easier than I realized, and Tony was kind enough to include the proper sandpaper.

I might add that I was about to give up on trying to make this model accurate until I received Tony's beautiful wheels, which restored my enthusiasm. Making it truly accurate will be beyond my capabilities, but I think I will be very happy with it when finished (this will take a couple of months).
