Sorry to say, but this car always had only one engine, that is the original one, the replica may have two. There has been only one double 4, the one with wooden wheels. It never was very successful, though. I believe that either crankshaft or gearbox problems made it a very short experiment.

All info in the book by Steinhauser.

That is interesting, but this has 2 engines. There is information?. I don't have the book of Steinhauser ...

Thanks Uwe,

the picture above is the only one with two engines.

The other, more streamlined one, has originally existed, but with one engine only.

The later replica received two engines, which is historically not correct.
