In the original, the spare tyre is not sitting that high! |

Hi, It's a very nice model although there might be some details not that precise as on the original car. Apart from the spare wheel I guess that the upper profile of the engine hood is too much rounded but probably this model was copied of pictures. I would really appreciate if they were also making a model of 57158. I could provide all sizes and detail pictures as well. Greetings: minime |

There have been several instances where enthousiasts or owners guided a producer of models in making a scale model of an existing car. The type 101 by MaCol jumps into my mind, where Gerrit Bus send a lot of pictures. I suggest contacting Chromes or Macol for a similar venture. |

Hi, I tried to contact Chromes but I didn't get an answer. I was talking to the owner of Tin Wizard about 2 years ago. He was willing to run a small production but in order to end up at a reasonable piece price a batch of about 40 models would have been needed and I understood that I would need to buy that whole batch. I would maybe need 2 or even 3 models but I'm not a model dealer or so. So, any suggestion is welcome if someone knows a company that is able (and willing) to produce a high quality model of 57158. I can provide all necessary measures as well as all detail pictures, outside, inside, top and below. Greetings: minime |

Hi, Thanks a lot for the hint. I'll try to contact them however it would have been a less difficult job for Chromes as they already have the convertible ready and both cars have a lot in common. Greetings: Minime |
