Correct, this is a short wheelbase Royale, with Z-channeled chassis, and a V8 engine.

You can do anything with plastic...

Radiator is not from the Napoleon, probably from the other Italeri Royale (Double Fiacre)

The kit had both radiators in the sprue, to make the sprue suitable for both Italeri Royales.

Jaap: why digging up this old thread? Working on a hotrod? :)

Yes, planning on building one from an original Royale which I recently found, bricked in in the cellar of a hospital in Rumania. :twisted:

That is nice! I once was in Romania, and saw this car, but did not take it, as it is not economical to run. Took the pre-war racing Mercedes instead.
