Here's an interesting model I completed last fall, a skiff bodied T22. Built from a resin cast by Scalekraft from the Auto Replicas T13; I lengthened the chassis, vacuum formed the fenders, carved the body from basswood, the upholstery is leather, and made the wire wheels using a miniature lathe. Tires are from an AMT Ford Model T kit, and other parts are scratchbuilt. The "deck" is basswood, soaked in dye to resemble teak with light colored (maple?) wood contrasting strips. This was displayed at the "Bugatti History in Miniature" show in Canandaigua, N.Y. Pico

However, a resin cast of the T13 Brescia sounds promising. Do you have contact details for these people?

Hermann, Apparently I'm unable to download from Image Shack, am trying again with another hosting site. Scalekraft unfortunately has been out of business for 2 years and sold off his molds, masters and collection. Pico

Looks great, really great. Indeed some flaws, but I am sure in real life you will not notice them. Photos are cruel for handmade models...

You are right, it looks good but when viewed with a magnifying glass, as with the blowups, every little detail can be picked out. Pico

The last wire wheels that I made I photographed extensively and will do a tutorial on the process and post on the machining forum in the modeling section on Automotive Forums.com. Busy now so it may be a month or so before I can get to it. Pico
