This morning the site has been offline for at least 1,5 hours. The modem was not working properly, already for a long time, which caused me to reset it every day or so. This morning I decided to call the helpdesk, and the friendly person on the other side of the line remotely re-installed the software on the modem, then talked me through the procedures to get a new connection. No connection however, and the person could not resolve the problem. Finally I was called back on my mobile number (no modem, no telephone...) by another person, and that person finally resolved the problem (after re-installing the software again, and again...) After re-establishing a connection, I had to make some adjustments to connect the server to the internet again, as that part is not supported by the Telco. Anyhow, everything works again... |
