The new version of the Forum is proving to be easier to use. With the old one I had to submit up to 10 times before it would accept my post, and occasionally it would log me out mid-post. The new version accepts my postings first time, every time.

Looking forward to any other changes Herman might have up his sleeve. Change is good, it means growth.

Regards
Johan.

I want the old layout back... (but the new engine, administration is easier as well. only drawback is that the new forum attracts more spammers. I will need to look into that. On the old forum I had a modification that fooled spambots.

For mow I have the new registrations on "approve by administrator" which means extra work for me.

I have registered on http://www.bugattiregister.com. I am already registered on Wiki, of course, so now I can follow the transfer of the chassis database from the latter to the former. At first I wasn't so sure about the new system, I was afraid that having to register and log-in to view the chassis database will chase people away.

I have had a change of heart though, this gives us contributors a golden opportunity to post Wiki info on the Forum, and I am toying with the idea of posting a complete list of the cars owned by those Wiki deleters, plus the one who wants to be paid 350 Euros per car per day. What do you think? In my humble opinion an amicable settlement is no longer an option, we need to escalate this issue until every single member of the classic car community is intimately aware of the actions of these wealthy tax-dodgers.

They started it, we must finish it with a decisive victory. I am sick to death of the rich stepping on the little guy.

Kind Regards
Johan Buchner

I still think the t-shirt idea is a good one.

On the front put "I support the Bugatti Builder website!" and "the forum for REAL Bugatti enthusiasts" and a copy of the logo.

On the back put the following:

"People who DON'T support the Bugatti Builder website (or who have tried to destroy it):

- Model, Year, Chassis #, Owners name
- Model, Year, Chassis #, Owners name
- Model, Year, Chassis #, Owners name
- Model, Year, Chassis #, Owners name

We will succeed without you..."

That is why you can then put a "FAKE" rubber type of stamp over the chassis # itself if required!
