Info wanted on Bardinon collection Bugatti's

I am in the search of information on making Bugatti or having made party of the Mas Du Clos Collection of Pierre Bardinon who does not shelter only Ferrari. I know that it always has its Type 51 (on which I would like to have information on its history) and that it acquired at the time of the sale Christie's in Rétromobile in 2003 (see photos) on this one, I have some information which had been given at the time of this sale. Short if somebody has information on these Bugatti, I would be delighted by know them. Here the list of Bugatti of which I know that they make or having belonged to the collection of Pierre Bardinon.

- Bugatti Type 35 B
- Bugatti Type 43
- Bugatti Type 51
- Bugatti Type 55 chassis n° 55208
- Bugatti Type 57

Yesterday one of our fellow Bugattibuilder forum members told me that Pierre Bardinon dyed about a year ago. :cry:

Hi. I am new on this interesting forum and I want to give a small contribution. One of the first cars in the Mas du Clos collection was a 35 wich was bought by Bardinon in "basket case" condition and rebuilt by Novo in 1959 when his shop was still in the suburb of Paris. The frame was bent and lots of bits and pieces where missing but as usual Novo has done a good job and the car looked really original even if it was far from that. I do not know if it is the one wich is still in the collection but I remember that it has been tested in Sport-Auto in the .60. Sorry for my english but I'm french and lack practice.

Bienvenue parmis nous Soling... Si tu as d'autres informations sur les Bugatti fesant ou bien ayant fait partie de la collection du Mas du Clos de Pierre Bardinon, je suis preneur et je ne pense pas être le seul dans ce cas :wink:
