As member H50 said and confirmed by other source as well, there will be 30 1200 hp Veyron Supersport cars, from this 30 Veyron Supersport production run there will be 5 über-custom and über-special cars most likely featuring their own names, this explains difference in price from EUR 1.65M to EUR 1.95M. Aaccording to one source all those 5 über-custom cars are already sold. The first launch is going to happen in July, only then at Pebble Beach. Veyron Supersport features different body styling and sporty interior with loads of CF. The only thing I am not sure about is weight decrease, I really doubt it will be 300 kg lighter, may be H50 has a concrete answer how much kilos less?

At the present time, all the informations about the supersport are rumors.
But the 1200 hp exist.

Shouldn't a 1200HP version than at least have a different design and a different name, not just Veyron SuperSport?

As a Veyron customer

it would annoy me to see more than 300 being made, even if it is with a different version of the engine.

And; is an upgrade also possible? I find my Veyron a bit weak in the 350km/h + region. Lots of T57S were also upgraded (by the factory) to SC specification!

The Veyron coupe production run will be stopped after 270 cars produced, then 30 Veyron Supersport cars will be produced, from the 30 Veyron Supersport cars there will be 25 Supersports and 5 über-custom Supersports, likely to feature different names. The Supersports is not the ordinary Veyron with few tweaks it is totally reworked car, different design, different interior, suspension, the engine is also reworked, higher topspeed and faster acceleration in the whole speed range. It will not be possible to upgrade Veyron coupe to Veyron Supersport from the factory. As I have said the only figure I want to find out is weight reduction. And its much more than just a rumors, its a sure fact that Supersport is comining

For sure its an upgraded Veyron... Does it look like a veyron?? A bit .. too many differences between the two cars.. the only similarity are the doors.. front rear roof all different.. when the car will be shown i will tell you all the differences...

The reason of 30 cars to be produced is that in order to achieve the world record and according to Guinnes world book rules i think a minimum of 20-25 cars in order to have a serial car production record.

Thats count for Piech fighting back hard to get his record back.. and the Bugatti is going to come back..

For D55L,
weight saving are from 80-100kg..
