very slow download speed

hi herman i seem to be experiancing slow connection speed this only happens when i shortcut to bugatti builder it takes an age to look up topics is there a server problem? and are any other people experiencing the same,
all my normal and other favorites are up to speed its only bugatti builder thats slow

me too, and my provider has just recently upgraded my connection:
everything is now much faster,
but for this forum - it is slower than ever.

Me too... All sites on the server (with this one attracting the most visitors) are slow.

I have asked the server owner to trace which pages are most popular. For some reason at this moment I get a lot of traffic (and I mean a LOT) from Russia. Can't be good...

hi I mainly veiw pages new posts and unread posts just recently i keep getting logged out, and have to log in to see the forum all a bit weird as this has never happened before, hope a repair is on its way as it detracts from a brilliant site that i look at daily

The forum should be back at normal (not slow, not fast) speed again. It turns out that some complete idiot tried (and probably succeeded) to download the complete website, including the 26000 photos. All in all some 10 Gb, which, using HTTrack downloader, is multiplied by 4 at least.

Bloody idiot...

Next time I will block the IP address.

The site is on a server where more websites are located. I am moving sites away from that server, which is a slow process. However, speed should increase over time.

Last site I will move is Bugattibuilder, as it is the most daunting task. Anyhow, we will survive.
