Where are the original Royale Elephants ? One is in Switzerland , and the others? How many were there?

It is way too smooth, (as are all the fake "Nellies" now fitted to the cars) The genuine item was more in keeping with Rembrandts other work, and sculpted with much more passion. The cast you have here is taken from the real thing, but it is about a seventh generation copy.

No, it is not. But wax castings can do funny things. I have one that is completely twisted. Feet going forwards, head looking sideways.

wonderful.. and the silver foil wrapping would give that wrinkly texture lost after so many impressions..
but drive in the shade..
