On the cross section, leave the pump vanes that are not crossed out, as they only make for confusion. Took me a while to figure out.

On shape I cannot comment, I did not carry around T41 waterpumps lately.

So you are making a Royale? Show some pictures!

Which of the two drawings is correct, as they are quite different!

I regret to tell you Udo- I fear that this years crop of strawberries is completely wiped out.
That drawing is just as wrong as the other one. The original drawings of the water pump are very faded and there was an early and a late version. What are you copying from/

the first drawing is the water pump for the Type 5 . Second one is new made from the original Royale drawing . As you can read , this drawings are made at " De Dietrich " . the only place today to build historically Bugatti parts . Almost historically. But there is no other place with a connection to Bugatti like De Dietrich . And all happens in Bugatti`s first original workshop .

For example, everything is wrong. While it resembles a generic Bugatti water pump, it is wrong in every detail, apart perhaps for the inlet pipe.
Why are you going to such trouble to redraw all of this if you don't have the correct info to start with.
What are you doing it for?

I find the royale enigma a little odd, who is going to buy the 4 anglo german replicas that are now being built up? There will soon be more recreations than originals, with GP's I see the benafit of racing recreations of 3 of 5 cars but replica royales puzzle me?
