Jaap has published an unknown photograph of a Figoni & Falaschi coupé probably on a T57(C) chassis. The car looks stunning. Does anyone have more information about it?

See: www.bugattipage.com

Very "Americanesque" car to my eyes.

Chrysler Prowler comes to my mind...

While looking at the picture I get the feeling that we are being fooled by a nice Photoshopped picture.... The lines of the car look to modern to my opinion. More like a Hod Rod than a classic Bugati. Also the shape of the font wheel and tire look not like original to me…. But… I hope I am wrong….

Maybe lower that scuttle a bit, make the rear fenders just a touch less full, and surely this would be an imaginative re-interpretation for one of those badly built T57SC Atlantic replicas? Wasn't Eric Koux's Atlantics made from glass fibre as well?
And if you wish to go faster, a small-block Chevy V8 will do very nicely; not a Ford engine though, that would be vulgar. Reliable, but vulgar.
