"Brooklands Race Track, Surrey, 1929. The British Racing Drivers Club 500 mile race. The picture shows the start of the 1,500cc class race. The three middle cars are Bugattis, whilst Number 14 on the right is the famous Fraser Nash 'Slug'. The legendary Italian car designer Ettore Bugatti was the outstanding innovator of the age. His sport and racing cars reached speeds in excess of 130 m.p.h. (208 km)."
