There were 6 cars produced: 57454: Exposed at the Salon de Paris 1951, coach Gangloff which rests on an old frame of the adapted Type 57. This car is not regarded as a true type 101. 101500: Prototype of the 101, this truck would have been constructed by the German coach-builder Spohn with Ravensburg according to a drawing of Louis Lepoix. 101501: Gangloff convertible different from that exposed at the Salon de Paris 1951, by its grill and the drawing of the cap. It was fitted with body one second time by Gangloff following an accident which has occurred during the honeymoon as of its owner Mr. Renk, that explains why certain authors could think that there were seven cars, because there were well there seven different body but only six chassis. It is blue sky today and is in a collection in Germany. 101502: Realized by the Guilloré coach-builder in the style of its Delahaye, standard coach. 101503: Third convertible Gangloff, this one is more elegant with its belt of lower case. Is today in the Museum of Mulhouse. 101504: Appeared in September 1954, this half-compartment fitted with body by Antem appeared a long time in the Harrah Collection before being restored by Harguindeguy in 1986. It is the most beautiful of the series Type 101. 101505: No information on this chassis is available. 101506: A convertible by Ghia. Property of the Behring Collection and on sale in Japan in December 1988. Database on: Bugatti Type 101 chassis numbers
