Bugatti Royale technical Info

Hello ,
I am looking for all kind of technical information like drawings , or fotos from the gearbox , frame , just any part inside the car .

What you need to do is to become a member of the Bugatti Trust, and be nice to them.
They have a copy of every factory drawing on the car, absolutely fascinating. I only wish I had the time to study them in full.

Or you can buy

Bugatti Royale, le Rêve Magnifique by Paul Kestler.

It contains lots of drawings and photo's on all Royales

are you sure , that it contains lots of drawings ? I just got the info , there are no drawings in the book .

I am afraid to say that the "Reve Magnifique" has no drawings of any use to you. And no new information for that matter.
what is it in particular that you want to know about? I am capable of boring the hind legs off a donkey on the subject of the Royale.

I am looking for front and rear axel drawing , Gearbox and chassis drawing . In the back axel brake drumm are 2 cylinders , conected with a small pipe , what is it for ?

Oops, you have come across a dirty little secret: There is no book "the anatomy of a Bugatti Royale". It was planned, but never came through... However, it was advertised already in a couple of places...

Why don't you ask him? He has an acount here, I believe "Gerald" or GWingrove".

There is no Book , " Anatomy of a Bugatti Royale " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tere are 2 used books in the USA for about 130 $ .
Amazon shows a ISBN number and average selling price 136$.
I have a drawing , "These plan are from ,THE ANATOMY OF A BUGATTI ROYALE, published by G.T. Foulis.

I have the same drawing, it is hanging in my office. Paid a fortune for such a large frame.

I checked Amazon, but no book there. They have the general data of the book, including ISBN, but no picture, and not available. I do not see second hand ones. Can you direct me to those?

Gerald assured me that there was no book...

I did discuss producing a book to be called "Anatomy of a Bugatti Royale" with G.T. Foulis many years ago as part of an extended series of books on classic cars, but they declined the offer saying that they thought they would never sell. However I have a sneaking suspicion that they let out a flyer on the Bugatti one to see what the response would be (hence the ISBN number) , but they have always denied it.

Half the contents of that book ended up in ‘Complete Car Modeller-2’ including the full set of engine, chassis & body plans, in the final edition, (check my web site for details http://www.geraldwingrove.com, and then books) and the other half can be found in my latest book, ‘Art of the Automobile in Miniature’, both of which have sold out, so perhaps G.T. Foulis missed out on something. Both books still turn up on Amazon and eBay from time to time, so I am told.
