I thought you might find this article to be of interest, from the April 1957 issue of the late, great Sports Car Illustrated, written by the late, great Ken Purdy.

The only automotive journalist to rival Ken Purdy has been David E. Davis Jr., who turned car magazines into outstanding entertainment with his Car and Driver magazine.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page and open his account of his ride with Paul Russell in the restored Ralph Lauren Atlanic. It's priceless.
