To me, it looks like Udolahr has something to hide. If you would act less secretive, there's a bigger chance you might find an answer.

regards,
Patrick

I agree. I mentioned it earlier but he does not seem to understand.

How is this possible ?How can both cars have the same number plate ?
Very interesting is thingfishs comment,
"This above is enough information, Udo." It sounds to me like , stop asking about this car
So , now I am realy interrested what happend with this car . Is it maybe in thingfishs workshop ?
The best Atlantic replica Erik Koux made , and nobody knows where this car is ?
I think this car has a original T57 S chassis ?

OK , I got some info this morning from severel people , people I can trust . It is quite an interesting story .
The car is allready for over 2 years in 53894 Mechernich-Firmenich ( is this a place to fix Bugattis ?), a small place near the Dutch border . The car went to this place about an engine problem , the guy fixing it claims he needs new cam shafts and rocker arms . Over 2 years for changing this parts ? Info from Erik Koux about it , nothing is wrong with this engine , the engine has camshafts like new ones .And I belive , he knows what he is talking about .
After 2 years Volkswagen got from Koux his private Atlantic to have something on display . So why , somebody likes to have this car for over 2 years in his Workshop ?
He borrowed from Koux 4 Fiberglass wings , some patterns to make castings , and other things for the Atlantic . Koux wanted this parts back and got answers like , " I thought this are presents " , and other excuses like this . Today he still has nothing back .
I think it needs not a lot of fantasy to see what is going on .And I am sure Volkswagen will love it .I belive thingfish knows about it , or is involved .
His comment," Udo this is enough info ", tells me everything .

Just a few days ago , we had a problem like this . A guy from the Elsass gave 2 years ago a set of Bugatti vice castings to a German near Bonn . The german told him he will machine it for him . He did not answer emails and it was difficult to fone him .So the case went to the lawyer , after 3 days I had the castings , bingo .

Udo, Udo, Udo ... you´re not only a very impatient man, you are again (or should I rather say: "as always..") completely wrong.

I have got nothing to do with the VW Atlantic.
Would this car have been at my workshop, it would be back at the Autostadt for two years already ...

Now, why didn´t I tell you where the car is?
The answer is actually very easy and I thought that you would come up with it yourself ...

The answer is: why should I give insider information to a complete outsider?
Tell me!?

Therefore, the information I gave was enough for you.
Simple as that.

Without wanting to oil a fire, in or out is a ridiculous statement.

"In" seems to be a group of people that are higher ranked than others.

"Out" is the rest. I am "out" as I have been told while talking to the secretary of a Bugatti club.

This in or out thing eventually leads to decay of the community, thereby causing a loss of interest, and losing the cars to investors, until they find out that interest is declining. This is where the bubble bursts.
I have already seen this in other communities, both while in it, or on the sideline, and I do not feel any community is immune for this.
