Some of us actually have work to do....I am still trying to "create" or generate drawings for the T251 engine/gearbox and diff using only photos and the actual castings themselves taken from the original patterns.This week I have taken a break in order to re treat the T73/73c patterns with a nasty product which costs me 200 euros a year in order to stop woodworm and other insects eating Bugattis hard work.I am becoming worried about the longer term storage and conservation of these patterns.On this occasion I am listing and identifying each pattern or part of pattern with its original number and a brief note of what it is.I have patterns for 9 different engines and some 3 tons of patterns in total.....I had considered giving the patterns to the Schlumph museum [after I have done my work with these models] but having seen for myself how badly they store and deal with priceless objects I cannot bring myself to do it.I suspect they will all end up with Mulin one day. So that at least is why this Bugattiste is not writing every day on the forum.

Hi Lazarus, is there a fumigation process that would be effective if the wooden moulds were stored within a [sealed] room-ok I imagine there are a lots of them..-but I think there is a fumigation system that would be as effective and maybe not cause damage or warping of the wood ???
probably quicker in time also..

If this wood worms eat the original Bugatti patterns , will they become little Bugatti worms in the end ?
